Choosing the right Pre-Kindergarten program is very important.

Pre-K is the foundation of creating lifelong learners.  At Wittmann Learning Center, we take educating the whole child seriously.

***WLC is a private school.  It is not a daycare.  Children must be 3 years old or above, must be potty trained, and are expected to attend regularly.  Absences greatly interfere with academic progress and classroom procedures. What do we teach?

First, and foremost, we are disciples of Christ.  A Christian environment that teaches the Word of Jesus Christ is at the top of our curriculum.  We use the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum as our primary curriculum. We are a licensed and insured educational institution educating the whole child.  We teach alphabetic principles, phonemic awareness, phonics, numeric principles and basic computation, classroom procedures, how to socialize and share, and so much more.   We use hands-on developmentally appropriate practices.  We also incorporate one-on-one, small groups, and whole group instruction in Math and Reading.

Our goal is for your little one to be reading or ready to read upon entry into Kindergarten.

What is different in our program?

We meet the child at their level and lead them to where they need to be in a positive and loving learning environment. We learn through natural experiences inside and outside of the classroom.   We do not use one single "method" to teach our students.  For example, we don't use just the Montessori approach to teaching, we incorporate many early childhood education theorists/theories and and teaching styles in our pedagogy at Wittmann Learning Center.  Each child is different and requires different methods to learn.
